Our School's Admission Information:
Applying for a place in Reception starting in September 2025
Children join the Reception class at the beginning of the school year in which they are five (children born on and between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021). If you are an Essex resident you must apply for your child's school place via Essex County Council's website. The online application system will open on 4th November 2024 and the closing date for applications is 15th January 2025. Once a child has been offered a place in our Reception class, parents and children are invited to transition meetings at the school.
Since December 1st 2023 all mid year admissions must be made directly through the school.
You can apply to change your child's school during the school year. This is called a mid-year admission. If you are moving to a new house, you need to provide proof of your new address with the application.
If your child has an education, health and care (EHC) plan, you need to contact the Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) service.
We follow the National Curriculum and are regularly inspected by OfSTED and we also have Anglican Church inspections on a regular basis. Please visit the relevant pages of the site for more details on our curriculum and our teaching methods.
Please see below for details of our admission policy.
